Terri Erlenbach
Hi, I’m Terri Erlenbach, program ad sales lead for the New Albany Dance Festival. I’m an active Board member for the New Albany Women’s Network, New Albany Intermediate School PTO and New Albany Bridges. I also volunteer for the Buddy Up For Life organization and the New Albany Food Pantry. I’m excited to be part of this year’s festival to support the arts in New Albany and my daughter, Juliet who is dancing in the showcase and is part of the New Albany Middle School Theater Department.
Nancy Alexander
Nancy Alexander is the chair of Decor and Setup for the New Albany Dance Festival. Since moving to New Albany in 2013, Nancy has served as a board member for the New Albany ELC PTO, New Albany Primary School PTO, New Albany Intermediate School PTO and the New Albany Middle School PTO. She is also part of the steering committee for New Albany Bridges as well as the NAMS Meals on Wheels coordinator. Nancy volunteers for Canine Companions in her spare time as well as enjoys outdoor time with her family, cooking, home improvement projects and traveling. She’s excited to help with this year’s festival to support the arts in New Albany. Nancy is married to Bryan Alexander, hospitalist at Grant Hospital, and they have two children, Addilyn (14) and Cade (12). Both kids are part of the New Albany Middle School Theater Department.

Laura Stanley
I have a passion for involving myself in my community. I have previously volunteered in activities like Girl Scouts, the New Albany Middle School Theatre Program, and with my church. The main reason for choosing to involve myself in the New Albany Dance Festival is to continue to strengthen the community we live in. Events like this allow our friends and neighbors opportunities to enrich their lives.
Amanda Lenhart
Amanda is passionate about philanthropy and the performing arts. For nearly 20 years, Amanda has served as Director and Vice-President of The Charles H. Dater Foundation, which has made more than $80 million in grants to youth-focused non-profits in Greater Cincinnati. After over 14 years with the law firm of Dinsmore & Shohl, she left her position as a partner to be a stay-at-home mom of her two sons and to devote more time to the Foundation. Prior to practicing law, Amanda studied dance for 18+ years with Bonnie Williams and at the University of Cincinnati College Conservatory of Music. She has taught dance at homeschool co-ops throughout the Columbus area since 2019.
Todd James
I volunteered at the inaugural New Albany Dance Festival in 2022 and saw up close what an amazing event this was for the community. That experience inspired me to do more and step up into the role of Food & Beverage Coordinator. I look forward to helping the Festival grow.
Katie Rooney
Katie Rooney is a long time supporter of the performing arts in New Albany and Melissa Gould Super Fan! Katie has been a part of the festival since its inception and looks forward to welcoming new and repeat patrons this summer.
Susan McGarvey
It is honestly my privilege to be able to serve as co-chair to the Health & Safety committee for the New Albany Dance festival. My experience as a dance & theater parent, an avid supporter of the arts, and a registered nurse lends itself well to this role! I would like to thank NVDC and Melissa Gould for all of the hard work and dedication required to create this wonderful event for the community. Thank you, from the bottom of my heart!
Alison Stanfill
Allison Stanfill is co-chair of hospitality. She enjoys supporting and promoting the arts through volunteering with Nams Theatre. She is active in her church through her work in their food pantry. Having enjoyed prior performances, she is honored to volunteer on the staff of New Albany Dance Festival for the first time.
Karen West
Karen West is a mother, wife, and hair color artist. She enjoys supporting local theater, music, dance, and art. She is looking forward to helping bring this gift of dance and fitness to the New Albany Community.
Melanie Luckenbach
Melanie is a lifelong dancer, mother to two professional dancers and is currently a member of the Artisan Dance Company Tap Ensemble. . Melanie is also a long-standing officer & supporter for the Grandview Heights High School vocal music and theater program. Melanie has immense passion about the arts and is thrilled to be able to participate in the international concert in 2024. In her spare time Melanie works in human resources and rescues senior special needs Yorkies.
Kenny Brown
A multi-disciplinary artist, Kenneth Brown has been performing, teaching, and choreographing hip-hop, contemporary, swing, lyrical, jazz, improvisation, and musical theater for over 20 years. With a variety of performance, choreography, and instruction credits to his name including The Lincoln Theater’s “Renaissance Magic”, Converging Arts Columbus “The Journey” series, New Vision Dance Company, and a Theatre Roundtable “Excellence In Chorography” award-winning turn as choreographer for State of The Arts Productions’ “The Color Purple” he has had the opportunity to work throughout Central Ohio, Marion, Mansfield, Dayton, and Michigan. He has been profiled in a documentary film and is sought out for choreography, master classes, and workshops featuring his unique, expression-forward approach to dance artistry.
Matthew Bories
I’m excited to serve as the Marketing and Publicity Chair for the New Albany Dance Festival, where I’ll also be supporting the festival through photography, creative promotion, and community outreach. I connected with Melissa through the New Albany Middle School theatre program, where my daughter has participated in the productions she has directed over the past two years. Watching the impact the arts have had on students and families in our community inspired me to become more involved and support organizations that create those opportunities for others.
This is my first year serving as a chair for the festival, and I’m incredibly excited to help share the energy, creativity, and passion that make this event so special. I enjoy finding creative ways to connect people to the arts through storytelling, marketing, photography, and community engagement. Being part of an organization that gives back to the community while creating meaningful artistic experiences is something I’m truly grateful to be a part of.
Jyothi Cherry
Jyothi has been a huge fan of New Vision Dance Company since she attended her first performance in 2018. She’s been a resident of New Albany for 24 years, is a dance enthusiast and a lifelong supporter of the arts. Seeing the inaugural New Albany Dance Festival come to life five summers with its successful outcome and impact on the community inspired her to continue to be part of it every year since. She currently serves as Board Treasurer and you can frequently find her selling logoed merchandise at all NVDC events.
Lindsey Ginnan
Lindsey Ginnan has been passionate about dance for as long as she can remember. She began dancing at the age of six and went on to dance competitively throughout high school and college, developing a lifelong appreciation for the discipline, artistry, and joy that dance brings.
In addition to her love of dance, Lindsey has dedicated the past 22 years to education as a teacher, inspiring and supporting young people in their growth and development. Today, she is especially passionate about encouraging opportunities for children to experience the arts and discover the confidence, creativity, and community that dance can provide.
As an advocate for arts education, Lindsey enjoys supporting young dancers, attending performances, and celebrating the talent and dedication of artists of all ages!
James Gould
James Gould works as an Agile Operations Director at Bath & Body Works. He is excited to be a chairman for the 2024 New Albany Arts Festival and use his skills to support the arts.
Megan Badaglia
Megan is honored to be serving her fourth season as a chair member of the New Albany Dance Festival. A former dancer with BalletMet, she is passionate about supporting the arts and takes pride in contributing to a vibrant cultural community in the place she calls home. As the producer of the festival’s Friday night concert, she enjoys curating an inspiring and memorable experience for audiences and performers alike.
Laura Coleman
I had the opportunity to volunteer at the inaugural New Albany Dance Festival last summer. Melissa Gould’s dedication to providing opportunities for artists to share their talent and passion is inspiring. Supporting local arts is important to me and my family. I’m excited to be able to continue my support of the Festival in its second year.
Kirsten Frison
Kirsten is a dance instructor, group fitness instructor, artist, and mom of two. Kirsten originally became involved with the festival by dancing with New Vision Dance Company. She danced and choreographed for 6 seasons and began assisting with the company’s and festival’s social media and graphic design in 2023. Although she is no longer performing, she is proud to continue to be involved in the planning and execution of the festival. She loves that it brings together dancers of different backgrounds and styles and gives performance opportunities to local artists and movers.
Janaya Davis
I’m from Groveport, Ohio. I’m a member of New Vision Dance Company. This is my 4th year being involved in the festival and my 2nd year in the role as the studio showcase producer. I took the role because I grew up dancing in a competitive environment and know how fun but also a little stressful it can be. This part of the festival is a fun non competitive environment where we bring different dance studios together for a fun time. I’m super excited to see all the performers shine on stage and to see what this year’s festival brings!
Jessica Gould
Jessica is excited to produce Ten Tiny Dances at the New Albany Dance Festival again this year. She teaches jazz at BalletMet in downtown Columbus. She has been a member of New Vision Dance Company going on five years.
Abbey Jo Griffith
Abbey Jo is a New Albany resident and lifelong fan of dance. She grew up dancing and performing in theater productions, so she is excited to channel her love of dance and theater into volunteering for the New Albany Dance Festival. She looks forward to seeing it thrive and grow every year
Sheryl Smith
This is my third year as the VIP Chair and I am on the Board of Directors of New Vision Dance Company. I think Dancing is such a wonderful art to share with others and the concept of a multi-day New Albany Dance Festival is very exciting to me. I look forward to personally thanking all the table sponsors as they arrive for the evening performances. I also plan to take one or more of the free classes that are offered. I firmly believe in giving back to the community and by volunteering for NVDC and NADF, I can share my passion with others and introduce my friends and family to another form of art.
Lauren Bar-Lev
Lauren Bar-Lev is thrilled to join the New Albany Dance Festival team as the Volunteer Chair for the 2026 festival! Lauren moved from “the state up north” to Ohio nearly 20 years ago for her pediatrics residency at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital. After meeting her husband, they moved to New Albany in 2010 and they have called it home ever since. She is a pediatrician and is currently in her 16th year of practice at COPC – Ohio Center for Pediatrics in Dublin. While raising her 4 children (Sammie 12, Jake 10, and twins, Asher and Noah, 8), she has loved being a board member in the NAPLS PTO for the past 8 years. She has also served as a board member in other organizations over the years, including the National Council of Jewish Women and Children’s Practicing Pediatricians. Lauren is married to Rabbi Benjy Bar-Lev, the senior rabbi at Temple Beth Shalom in New Albany. She enjoys running, baking, travel, and can’t wait to dust off her ballet slippers this summer!
