I am incredibly proud to introduce New Vision Performing Arts — a program born from decades of
experience on and off the stage, and built around one simple truth: theatre, dance, and music do not
just create performers. They shape confident, courageous, empathetic human beings.
At New Vision Performing Arts, we are creating a space where every young artist in Central Ohio can
grow — not just in their craft, but in who they are. Through professional training, meaningful
productions, master classes, and real performance experiences, students will be challenged, inspired,
and celebrated every step of the way.
The spotlight has always meant the most to me when I watched it land on a young artist discovering
their own voice for the first time.

Meet Melissa Gould
I’ve spent my life in motion — first as a professional dancer, then as an educator, choreographer, and director shaping young artists across Central Ohio. Today I’m the founder of New Vision Dance Company and New Vision Performing Arts.
I believe the performing arts don’t just create performers — they build confident, courageous, empathetic humans. I’ve watched shy kids find their voice on stage and teenagers discover who they are through storytelling. That’s not a small thing. That’s the whole thing.
For twenty years, New Vision Dance Company has been home to artists of every age, including adult dancers who deserve to keep creating long after the “traditional” stage moves on. Now, New Vision Performing Arts expands that mission into theatre, music, and performing arts education — built on
two decades of experience and love for this community.
The best work of my career is still ahead, and I can’t wait to share it.
