I have spent my life watching what happens when a young person steps into the spotlight for the first time. The nerves, the breath, the moment they realize — I can do this. That transformation never gets old. It is, quite simply, why I do this work.
New Vision Performing Arts exists to create more of those moments. For every shy kid who needs a stage to find their voice. For every teenager searching for where they belong. For every artist of any age who deserves the chance to keep creating, keep growing, and keep shining.
We are committed to making that possible for every young artist in Central Ohio — regardless of background or means. Accessible arts education, inclusive programming, and real performance experiences that don’t just build better performers. They build better humans.

Meet Melissa Gould
Melissa Gould received her B.A in Dance at San Jose State University and enjoyed a professional dance career which included contracts in Japan, Las Vegas and South Korea. Melissa has been teaching for over 35 years and has choreographed musicals for community theatres across the country. As Artistic Director and founder of New Vision Dance Company, one of the McCoy CPA’s resident artists, Melissa is known for her intense dance style, challenging classes and entertaining choreography. Melissa wants to promote and support the performing arts in New Albany and throughout Central Ohio.
