New Albany, Ohio – April 2026 — New Vision Dance Company proudly announces the 5th Anniversary of the New Albany Dance Festival (NADF), returning July 21–26, 2026, to the Charleen & Charles Hinson Amphitheater and the Jeanne B. McCoy Center for the Arts in New Albany, Ohio.
Over the past five years, NADF has grown into a premier regional arts event, bringing together professional artists, local studios, and the community for a multi-day celebration of dance, movement, and wellness.
The festival opens on Tuesday, July 21 at 6:00 PM with Ten Tiny Dances®, a nationally recognized performance concept featuring choreography created for a 4’ x 4’ stage. Originally founded in Portland, Oregon by Mike Barber, this unique event returns to Central Ohio for the first time since 2019.
The New Albany Dance Festival Concert headlines Friday, July 24, showcasing professional and pre-professional companies from across the Midwest. Audiences will experience a dynamic mix of styles including contemporary, jazz, modern, lyrical, and fusion.
The weekend continues with 30+ free dance and wellness workshops open to the community:
- Saturday, July 25 (8:00 AM – 4:00 PM)
- Sunday, July 26 (8:00 AM – 12:00 PM)
These sessions provide opportunities for participants of all ages and experience levels to explore movement, build skills, and engage with professional artists.
Saturday evening features the Central Ohio Dance Studio Showcase, a consistently sold-out event highlighting the region’s top studios. The festival concludes on Sunday at 1:00 PM with the International Dance Concert, a vibrant, multicultural performance celebrating global dance traditions.
